Mr. Qazi started his legal practice in 1976. Prior to that he had been selected for appointment as a magistrate, a civil judge, and a federal public servant, having acquired a masters degree in English Literature in 1973 and bachelor of laws degree in 1971 from the University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He specializes in corporate, commercial and financial laws. Nature of work handled includes legal advice, drafting, and litigation. He is a contributing editor for the Pakistani chapter of the International Encyclopedia of International Commercial Litigation, published by M/s Kluwer of Holland. He is a visiting faculty member in the Lahore University of Management Sciences. He is legal consultant to a number of banks, leasing companies and information technology companies. Mr. Qazi was the advising counsel in the first asset backed securitization transaction in Pakistan. He has conducted a number of seminars on banking law and practice. He has served as the Consultant to Attorney General of Pakistan from 2014 to 2016.
Mr. Ali Kabir has got almost 14 years of professional experience in advocacy and corporate consultancy to his credit. He did his LLM from the University of Salford, UK. He has also completed short courses in Business Law and European Commercial Law from the University of Antwerp, Belgium and Friedrich University, Germany. He is entitled to appear in all high courts of Pakistan. He is the Head of Banking Litigation and Corporate teams of the Firm, and he expert hands on banking/civil/corporate/constitutional law and white collar crimes etc. He has served as the Member Executive of LBA twice and has acted as the Chairman Judicial Reforms Committee of LHC Bar Association. He is also a member of Visiting Faculty at Pakistan College of Law.
